I need confirmation or information about my appointment?

If you have a query about your appointment then please telephone 01582 561385.

If you cannot attend an appointment or wish to cancel it, please let us know as soon as possible either on the telephone 01582 561385 or via this page as we can then offer another patient this appointment.

How do I get referred to the hospital?

Please visit your Doctor at your local GP surgery and ask for a referral to the L&D.

How can I get access to my health records?

How can I find out which ward my relative is on?

Please contact Main Reception on 01582 491166 as they will be able to help you.

What are the opening hours for the Phlebotomy (blood tests) department?

Mon-Fri – 07.30-16.30 (Excluding Bank Holidays)

Please contact the Phlebotomy department on 01582 497537 if you require any further information.

Who do I contact if I have an enquiry about working at the L&D?

What are the opening hours for the cashier’s office?

Mon-Thu – 09.45-12.00 and 13.00-16.30

Friday – 09.45-12.00 and 13.00-16.15

(Excluding Bank Holidays) 

Whom do I notify of my contact details?

If you need  to update details such as Home Address, GP Details or contact telephone number, we would ask for this notification in writing and sent directly to The Patient Services Team, or to our direct email:

We ask for confirmation of full name and hospital number or NHS number – and a description of the details that are to be amended.  If you do not have these details then we will need your current/old address and  your date of birth.

If  you are due to come into the hospital for an appointment, you  can also ask for this to be amended when booking it at the reception desk.
