Junior Doctors Industrial Action 10 February 2016

9 February 2016

Junior doctors across England are holding a 24 hour strike from 8am on Wednesday 10 February to 8am on Thursday 11 February. During this time, we are planning to run all services as normal, and the majority of planned surgical procedures and outpatient appointments will go ahead.

If you have an outpatient appointment or an operation planned for Wednesday, please attend as normal. If we need to cancel any appointments or operations, we will contact you by telephone during the afternoon on Tuesday 9 February. If we do not call you, please assume your appointment or procedure is going ahead.

We have been working with clinical colleagues across the Trust to maintain adequate staffing levels so that our patients, including emergency and urgent admissions, will continue to be cared for in a safe and appropriate manner.
