The Luton and Dunstable University Hospital currently have over 130 people on Apprenticeships from Level 2 in Customer Service right through to Level 5 CMI Diploma in Management and Leadership.
An Apprenticeship is a way to gain a nationally recognised qualification and can help boost career opportunities.
Andrew Brown (pictured) works for the L&D’s staff bank, who provide temporary staff throughout the hospital, is currently on an Apprentice programme and this week received an award. Another member of staff who was previously on an Apprentice programme has received their NVQ 2 Diploma in Hospitality.
