Stroke advice sessions for patients and carers

If you or someone you care for has had a stroke, you are invited to attend the new Stroke Information sessions at L&D for free advice and support.

The Stroke Information Forum takes place every Thursday 4pm – 5.30pm in the seminar room, Ward 16, St Mary’s Wing at Luton & Dunstable University Hospital. You do not need to book – just turn up on the day and anyone is welcome to attend. For more information call the Stroke Team on 01582 718218

Each week, a speaker will introduce a different stroke related topic, followed by time for patients or carers to ask questions. Stroke Team staff are available to give advice about healthy living, strokes and community support services.

We recognise the importance of providing education and support for patients and carers and families and we hope the sessions offer useful guidance in the aftermath of a stroke.
