The Cobham Clinic is a small private patient unit with 13 single en-suite rooms situated within and managed by the Luton and Dunstable University Hospital. We are here to offer all the benefits of private inpatient and outpatient care at your own local hospital with the peace of mind that there is the safety of 24 hour back up facilities all under the same roof. We can cater for both pre-booked and emergency admissions in many different specialities.
As a small unit, we provide you with very personal and friendly care and as our consultants are based here at the Luton and Dunstable University Hospital for their nhs work, should we need them they are almost always here on site.
We have at our disposal ITU and HDU beds should the need arise plus access to MRI, CT and Ultrasound scanners and eleven operating theatres.
Therefore unlike many private hospitals in the case of medical emergencies, they can be dealt without the need to transfer you to another facility.
